For most of my time in Germany, I used regional and ICE trains to travel to countries and cities relatively near to Jülich and Cologne. I was able to travel extensively in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany just with trains. Paris was also only 3 hours away via a Eurostar train from either Cologne or Aachen. Each of the following slideshows highlight photos from either one country, one trip, or one special event.
